This year the Chicago Drives Electric indoor EV test track is expanding from one track to two, giving you even more opportunities to experience the power of electric vehicles. You can also visit the EV education hub to learn about at-home charging, range anxiety, maintenance, and the costs of owning an EV.

Last year, 71% of attendees who test drove or rode in an EV said their experience improved their opinion of owning one, and 53% said they were more likely to buy an electric vehicle after the show.

Jennifer Morand, the General Manager of the Chicago Auto Show, said, “We learned that once people experience an EV, they feel more comfortable with the idea of owning one. We’re excited to bring this popular, educational, and hands-on experience back to the show. In 2025, you’ll find even more brands and models on the two EV test tracks, allowing you to compare and experience a wide range of EVs all in one place.”
