The Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) is proud to present the 2024 Chicago Auto Show, the nation’s largest and longest-running auto show, from Feb. 10-19 at McCormick Place. Whether you are looking for a new car, a fun family outing, or a way to beat the winter blues, the Chicago Auto Show has something for everyone.
Experience the Power of Electric
One of the highlights of the 2024 show is the Chicago Drives Electric indoor EV test track, where you can hop in the latest electric vehicles and feel the difference for yourself. You can also visit the EV hub to learn everything you need to know about owning an electric vehicle, such as charging, range, maintenance, and cost.
If you are not ready to go electric, don’t worry. The show also features hundreds of vehicles with traditional engines for you to explore and compare.

The 2024 show offers a variety of special themed days and events to make your visit even more memorable. Here are some of them:
- Game Day at the Auto Show on Sunday, Feb. 11: Show your team spirit by wearing your favorite sports team apparel and get a discount on your ticket.
- Automotive Career Day on Tuesday, Feb. 13: Learn about the different career opportunities in the automotive industry from experts and professionals. Students of all ages can get a special ticket price of $10 if they buy in advance.
- Chicago Auto Show Food Drive on Wednesday-Friday, Feb. 14-16: Help fight hunger in the city by bringing three cans of food for A Safe Haven’s Food Bank and get a $5 voucher off your regular admission.
- First Responders & Military Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Feb. 14: Thank the heroes who serve our community and country by presenting your applicable ID and get a $5 voucher off your regular admission.
- Family Day on Monday, Feb. 19: Celebrate Presidents Day with your loved ones at the Chicago Auto Show, where The Daily Herald will host a day of family fun and programming.
The show also features fan-favorite events such as Chicago Friday Night Flights, a local craft beer sampling event, and the Toyota Miles Per Hour run, where you can run a 2.4-mile loop inside McCormick Place before the show opens to the public.
